MTD 2009

Promote your business in the Gulf

Becoming the sponsor of the MONEY TRANSFERS DUBAI 2009 is an outstanding opportunity to promote your business and your services to the remittances world of the Gulf and beyond.

Following the huge success of the 4th annual London money transfer conference, IAMTN are pleased to announce the date for the 2nd annual Dubai conference. MTD is aimed at executive and money transfer professionals as well as consultants, lawyers, investment bankers and IT solution providers working with the remittances industry.

An exciting and relevant programme has been designed that will address the key current topics in the region and will allow plenty of time for networking.

There are a few sponsorship and speaker opportunities available for this conference so if you are interested please don't hesitate to contact Charlotte Giles: charlotte.giles@iamtn.org

At the Dubai conference that is going to take place in March 2009, an interesting and short documentary on remittances that was produced by IFAD, and three items on mobile remittances - including one from the Philippines and one concerning the much-in-the-news M-Pesa.

'It is interesting that there is significant news coverage of mobile payments but little of mainstream remittances. One of our tasks at IAMTN will be to raise media interest in the valuable work that all of our members undertake' - Leon Isaacs. Managing Director of IAMTN
